Hello, I have 'lost' this ( pic attached ) small cover for the front parking sensor of my BMW X4, 2014-18 edition. Would I be able to buy it online or do I need to go to a BMW workshop / local garage? It looks like it should be a simple snap-fit if one were to get the cover.

Some years ago I lost my BMW's rear tow hook cover. It just a small plastic cover. I got it from eBay for 5 GBP.
Try on eBay if it's available. But better check the cost and availability at your local dealer first.
You can either order it through your BMW dealer, or through Heddin Dielsdorf, or online though shops such as www.Leebmann24.de www.hubauer-shop.de www.baum-bmwshop24.de there you can also find the part number and than look for it on e-bay or other sources.
This. If you find it yourself you’ll still have to have it sprayed. Probably easier just to go to your BMW body shop.
That does not look like a parking sensor cover, rather the cover for the headlight washer, although from the picture that does look like a parking sensor!
Check with your insurance if that is covered (No pun intended!)
It seems like it’s such a cheap part that I wouldn’t bother with any other solution and just take it to BMW for replacement (Below may not be the correct one, but there are loads online, all around CHF20
Go to https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select and select the model of car (there are lots).
Once you’ve got the right one, click on the “vehicle trim” section and then “front bumper” and you should see the exploded diagram. Find the item in the image and then you can look up the part number, eg 5123456789.
With this reference you can order the part from a BMW garage, find it in online spares sales, shop for used ones on ebay etc.
As mentioned, getting the colour will be the problem so ebay could be your best bet. You need to pull the nozzle out and fit the cover onto it.
