Why don't bus drivers lower the floor for people like me?

LOL

To be honest, my first cat, Bonny, is a bit more like a dog in some respects. Although she'll wake me at 6am if she needs feeding, she didn't generally try to trip me.

Clyde on the other hand, is out to kill me.

From buses to cats in 19 posts. Brilliant!

It wasn't me...

But I do wonder what Assassin would have posted if I had a different avatar!

The cat even looks suppressed!

She always does. Some cats a friendly, affectionate, welcoming animals who love visitors.

Some cats are antisocial, unpredictable beasties who hide under the bed as soon as a stranger sets foot in the flat.

Tabitha falls into the second category.

Regarding the shopping issue though - I can not always plan my shopping around my hubby's schedule, and I have a much easier week if I do main shop weekly, instead of more frequent little shops, soooooo ... trolley is collecting dust. What works for me is to balance my shopping into 3 bags; one that goes over my shoulder, and one in each hand.

Of course, I am aided in this by help from my m-i-l though, who takes me shopping in her car, so these days I only have to worry about lugging stuff up the stairs on my own, instead of "across town" (really only about 5 blocks'ish - too near to feel right about taking the bus, but too far to comfortably carry all that ) AND up the stairs.
