Wifi camera in my parking lot

I've got 4 garages in my house. It's 4 garage boxes in a row, with a parking area in front of them. The land is actually my property but my neighbours can use both the parkings and the area in front of them.

.. basically each of the 3 neighbours can park 2 cars: one inside, one in front of 'his' box. The 4th box is for me.

I'd like to install a camera to oversee the parking lot.

Would I need to ask permission to the neighbours?

Would I need to guarantee the recording won't be made public / will be destroyed / won't leave the country / whatever else?

I believe that you are required to put up a notice that you are recording,

It would be polite to advise your neighbours what you are doing.

It isn't so much about what you are recording, but how you use the recordings. You cannot, without permission, post them to the internet, show them to your friends and family. You can share them with the police, but they don't have to use them.

One of them appeared near the bins of my first apartment in an area that was used as a thoroughfare by many people and we were not notified. Not sure do they officially have to.

There also needs to be a policy of handling the stored data, deletion after some days (for some reason I think it's 3), a designated person with access etc.

Where I live we have a camera at the entrance. The landlord had given us details on what angle it has, what can be "taped", how long this is stored, who can access it and what can be done with the "tapes" and when it will be destroyed.
