Is their anything different I need to take into account for an all electric?
Any suggestions for driving in snow that differs from petrol vehicles?
And, lastly any recommendations for tyres this car, or similar? (VW UP).
New all-electric Skoda Citigo-e is about to experience her first winter and I am beginning to look for some good winters.
The cold will not help the range or the car.

Teslas have some sort of damping foam in their tyres, but I‘ve never looked to check. I can‘t say I‘ve noticed any difference in range summer or winter, but long term efficiency measured on a Tesla stats app shows a decided drop in winter.
I would have thought same winter tyres as an ICE vehicle...
What about the regenerative braking? I realise it won’t work well with a cold or full battery. But is the handling any different?
The only time you might not want regen is in very slippery conditions. Teslas have one-pedal driving and can stop quite hard which could cause a slide in fresh snow. So it can be switched off if one is not confident about controlling speed with only the accelerator...
Or turn it down? I’ve got 4 levels on my Citigo.
Phone a Skoda service dealer and ask their recommendation, I have Pirelli (on Tesla dual), they’re amazing... mostly full regenerative braking on my side ..
It's a front wheel drive with probably not enough weight over the front tires so assume it will be not very good in snow. do you find it relatively easy to spin the wheels? Just the same get a winter tire with the best traction rating and chains for when you do get stuck.
No, I’ve floored it a couple of times and nothing but a small chirp once. But the acceleration is impressive! This car isn’t going to be used to go up the mountains, just locally on short journeys. On an average year I only have to shovel three or four times. We have one fairly steep, but reasonably travelled, road into our village but there are flatter alternatives.
I really like the one pedal driving and am just curious how the car will handle with snow on the road.
Assume similar to driving a bumper car.

Don't bother with regen in bad weather conditions, use winter tyres as you would on any car and you will notice nothing different. Our Polestar gets shod next month.
