Maybe anyone on EF is a bit handy and can even try and fix it themselves.
Its not cheap but not expensive (like give or take 175 chf) and is also a bit niche tbh. Just thought Id ask before I recycle it. Thanks!
Does anyone know anywhere in CH, or even better ZH, that I can take broken tools to be fixed? It's not a power tool. It is in fact a hydraulic cutter and is used on construction sites and also, in the case of this tool, yacht making.

You might like to try one of the Repair Cafés.There, volunteers pool their knowledge to try to help people repair all sorts of things, rather than throwing them away.

They assess your machine, decide with you on whether they should order any spare parts needed, and fix the thing. You can take your item to them (in Zürich, near Bucheggplatz) or they can collect, or possibly to the repair work in your home or office.
