11th Wedding Anniversary

Its our 11th Wedding Anniversary Tuesday ( err.. that would be mrs. G and me ) and while I have gifts picked out I thought I would take a quick look to see what is "tradional"

oh great... tradional is steel and as the list below that I nicked from an interweb site suggest... I could get her new flatware, or a knife, or maybe a nice kitchen appliance.

If I don't make it to the burger and beer event following monday you guys know whats happened

Traditional:

Steel

* Stainless steel flatware

* Quality steel kitchen knife

* Steel vase or statue

* Stainless steel kitchen appliances

* Steel home decor

Avoid anything sharp.

"hi honey, I thought we'd try something different tonight"

Steely Dan or Steeleye Span music?

Steeleye Span... ohhh... I like your taste

A nice mechanical watch such as NOMOS Ludwig.

AYB

Sorry, I'm not helping am I?

No way!

no,... thanks but no...

even when I had hair I wasn't into "hair" bands. ( more importantly nor was she. )

ah yes, now where to find a steel drum band in GE.

...and don't play any Steeler's Wheel

In order for your safety I'd suggest something more like these

Quite a few of them are made from stainless steel.

These guys might know!

There was one playing in Luzern two weeks ago. I think it was supposed to be volksmusic.

You could always go with a new twist on the classic: Mineral B .

Oh, c'mon, grynch, this one's easy! She would much rather have flowers, dinner, an original romantic poem penned by her man, or any other thoughtful gift, combined with the sentiment that YOU yourself are providing the "steel" in honor of the occasion!

Wait, you mean you didn't plan ahead and already have tickets to take her to the Caribbean for your anniversary?

Whatever you do, don't give her this ( the knives are stainless steel ) - she may get ideas.

Oh, and going back to this...

Maybe a stainless steel slave collar?

( This site is nsfw !!!)

Why not just steel her away for a night in a romantic hotel somewhere ... (sorry)

11 years ?

You're practically newlyweds !

As for the steel, pop by a nice jewelry shop and ask for: or et acier

Some shops have a steel and gold. It's rather modern, and quite elegant.
