The Swiss Franc was created by a Bundesgesetz (Federal Act) 175 years ago (07.05.1850)

Before the Franc there were Batzen, Thaler, Schilling, Rappen and other. Lots of events have happened since then and the Franc is there. Currency is ever present in daily life, even when electronic payments only say “Francs”.
