3D Movie specs

Taking my daughter to see the last showing in English as it billed of "how 2 train your dragon" in 3D tomorrow and well pop'ed into the cinema to pickup some 3D specs 4 her.

Sadly they only seem to do adult ones which are well huge; which is daft when you consider this is 3D movie 4 kids.

Do they do other sizes in Zurich, in other parts of the world perhaps?

I have only experienced 2 cinemas watching 3D here in Zürich. One in Arena Sihlcity and the other at the Abaton in Hardbrucke. Unfortunately, they are all the same size from what I have seen. Both cinemas' glasses were also a little big for me as well, kept slipping down at the movies and the cashier at Abaton gave me a blank look when I asked if they had other sizes. I guess the answer is no.

But I am sure that you can purchase your own 3D glasses online.

Tested 3D glasses in France and in Geneva. Only one size....

It's not only a problem for kids, but also for people who have to wear glasses. The french one were more comfy (avatar 3D) than the Swiss one. (Ice Age 3)

I still have the french one, they were *given* for the next film they will show.

Maybe you could bring a roll of masking tape (painter's tape) to help hold them up. If you use a small piece no one will notice it in the darkend theater
