One thing: the guy who advised my husband said it was very important that he go to and not just send me; it had to be something we did together. This was also great advice. My husband was new to wellness but loved it and we had a wonderful weekend together.
My husband asked around for ideas too and someone advised him very, very well. I got home Friday evening and he met me at the door with a list of things to pack and a time limit. I packed and we got into the car and left and he never told me where we were going. He took me to Hubertus (Alpine Wellnesshotel in Baldershwang, DE). We spent the weekend there, had a full package of wellness stuff and went snow-shoeing (equipment from hotel at no charge). Great food (and I am picky), wonderful room (everything wood with floor heating), beautiful area and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I certainly didn't feel 40 anymore when we left.
