6XL size clothes: where can I get them in Switzerland?

Hi all,

I want to send christmas gift(T Shirt) to my friend.

He is big and need 6XL size cloths. where could i find shops for big sizes in switzerland ?

See below helpful posters.

This is all I could find.

www.mrxxl.com Maybe you could give em a call in advance and inquire whether they carry your desired size.

There is a shop for XL Mens clothing on Bäckerstrasse, just off Staufacher, and another shop in Oerlikon, but I'm not sure of it's exact location.

There is a shop in Oerlikon have BIG size clothes but am not sure whether they have 6XL. They hang out a huge T-shirt at the entrance.

Good luck!

I believe that's just a shoe shop...and the owner is quite arrogant.

Up to 5XL here .

Up to 6XL here .

Does he have an over-sized ego?

here is the picture. It's on Hugostrasse.

The shop in the picture is called Nogatsch, they definitely do Übergrössen. The Bäckerstrasse shops are mainly for tall people as far as I can tell.

He's actually quite short...hmm, he possibly has an oversized ego.

Jokes aside, I was walking by the sotre one day, and I say a cool pair of ball shoes (basketball). I didn't really bother with looking at the sign or anything so I walked in and I asked whether I could try on the shoes on display. I wear size 12-13 depending on the brand/cut..so I asked for a 12. He looked at me funny and said that the smallest size he had was a 13 and he underlined that it's a store for tall people. Basically, he gave me a lot of attitude for an honest mistake or bad marketing (however you want to put). Either way, I thanked him for his assitance and went on about my business.

Sorry, I know there is no reason for this, but calling this a muscle shirt is just wrong when its in 6XL

Bäckerstrasse 15; it's called Sascha's. However, LiBby is right in that it's a shoe store.

Unless it's part of the (unfunny) joke, you've got the story wrong - I'm 194 cm, and the owner is taller than I am. I found him to be a generally pleasant, if very talkative, guy. I'm also on the bottom end of his shoe range (size 47-48, depending on brand) and had no issues. Perhaps you've got the same attitude in real life that you have here, and he recognized it?

Apologies to the OP for going off topic, but in case you do decide to buy your friend shoes, that would be the place to go. Other clothes, not so much.

Hi there,

Might be a bit late but this may help if you have time to shop online.

well.. you know what they say about men with a big ego...

only a 12 huh

you know what they say about men with small feet

i just so couldn't resist..

That is where I get my stuff from, and I start at XXXXXXXL (all muscles and sperm you must understand:-) A tad expensive but worth it.

Brings to mind anybody remember "Never mind the quality, feel the width"?

any outdoor shop? buy a tent

Nahh! Tents are all plastikky these days, go to a sailmaker if you want tailored rags.

..well, it's not a joke...and obviously we either went to different stores or talked to different people.

What's wrong with my attitude?

If I am not going to the US then I buy my clothes in Germany. There are some good stores in Munich that have a really nice selection of clothes in "Uebergroessen" and to boot you can claim the VAT back. Apart from that Munich is a nice city to hang out in. Here are a couple of links:

Maximus near Munich Airport

Also in Southern Germany
