Found out today I’ve won a 4 figure sum on Postcode Lottery back in the UK along with some others sharing the same postcode as my house 
OH is doing really well with his rehab and coming out at weekends. Unfortunately he hates the ward he was moved to just over 3 weeks ago. The staff have no rapport with the patients like the high dependency ward he was on and half the time the scheduled visits from doctors don’t happen or suddenly get cancelled. He sees a nurse at nine in the morning for obs and sometimes that’s it until nine at night.
He’s also been shouted at by the cleaning manager for having an untidy desk, she says it’s too difficult for staff to clean it. Aside of his laptop and phone stand what’s on there are items he uses for exercising his left arm and hand (hand weight, a stress ball to squeeze and some resistance bands). She speaks Basel Deutsch and uses a young member of staff to translate to English. 2 weeks ago the translation he got was she had said “your behavioural problem at the moment is because you are not having intimate relations with your wife” which was totally unprofessional, out of order and none of her business. I told his psychologist this as he felt totally humiliated by that comment. She said off the record this woman is known for being a bitch, but I don’t want to complain whilst he’s there as I don’t want to rock the boat for him. The situation is difficult enough as it is.
One good thing is he’s coming off the epilepsy meds on Friday, they make him confused and sleepy and affect his speech an hour after he gets them. He’s also lost about 2 1/2 stones which he’s pleased about.
I just wish I could see a discharge date tbh.
