To talk about the weather being brenzlig is weird all together but I'd understand if it looked to be very inconsistent. When I look at the forecast, all this rain .... nothing brenzlig at all. Not the tiniest risk to see a sunbeam until ... we don't even know as my forecast stops next Friday

It actually means splashing water around, for example small children in a bathtub. I think it’s Berndeutsch. In Zürideutsch you would say “götschä” and in high German “ plantschen”.
