Great game, great crowd, great beer even at 6am! Was bloody nice to be in a room full of aussies again. My husband was actually quite blown away because 'Everyone was SO friendly! Even the people going for the other team!'.

total pity! but yes I'd recommend heading to the twist if you can- there was actually a good crowd!
Being a mad eagles fan (my wife a dockers fan), even we said it was probably one of the best matches Ive seen. And thats coming from a guy that has played footy his whole life and even watches torrents of WAFL and past AFL games in his spare time! That last quarter had everything. Both goddard and maxwell took great marks in the last peroid.
Best sport in the world. Unfortunately I wont be there for the replay next week. Will be in Munich for Octoberfest
I will also be in Munich next weekend! last minute trip but looking for a pub to watch the game in there.
I definitely remember spotting a few eagles fans in the crowd!

Anyway, as a neutral, I think it's great there will be a replay. I'm sure being in Munich will be no impediment at all to watching the match. (I'll be in Morocco though, hmmmm...)
I made a vow that I would be there to watch if the Saints ever won another flag, with a bit of luck I'll break that vow on Saturday.
For those near Wollishofen, the Shamrock is also opening on Saturday morning.

Following a very exciting AFL Grand Final which ended in a 68-68 draw, we
have the very special opportunity to watch two live games of Aussie Rules
this year! This Saturday 2nd of October at 2:30 pm Melbourne time the opening ball will be bounced. That is 6:30 am in Geneva and Pickwick's Pub will open up to show the game from 6:00 am.
Come along and meet up with other Aussies and feel like you're back home as Collingwood Magpies once again play the St Kilda Saints. They will have the big screen and audio system set up and full hot breakfast and drinks
available at the bar.
