Aggressive Divorce Lawyer - Urgent

My lawyer had not chance against my husband's lawyer. Can anyone recommend an aggressive divorce lawyer in the Lausanne area? I need urgent help!!

Maybe you do not understand the Swiss system? There are no aggressive lawyers here.

All the work and negotiations are completed before you get to court. The assets are halved, the ex-partners receive half the others pension funds aquired during the marriage.

You will pay for your children a recognised sum every month until they have completed their professional training.

The joint income is then halved and you either pay or receive the difference, for about 2 to 5 years, or until after the children reach 12 years of age. After that the ex-partner is expected to become independant.

What did you expect to receive or pay? There is also no fault divorce here, if your partner ran off with a millionaire you would still pay the above. The more you fight this, the more expensive the lawyers bill will be.

If you are earning less than about CHF 3'500 per month the city will pay your legal fees, and will expect them to be repaid if your earnings go up.

in all the cases of people I know who have got divorced and been refused access to there own children its only been about revenge.

Oh believe me there are aggressive divorce lawyers out there... I could give you a long list of horrors I had to put up with from the ex's haridan... including.. agreeing an amount before a hearing.. and then being told by her.. as we walked into the hearing..that they were asking the judge for 10% more.

I agree there ARE agressive divorce lawyers here in CH. Only it is normally only the person with the most money that can hire them.

If anyone knows of an agressive divorce lawyer in ZURICH then please advise.

Oh, yes there are, at least in Ticino.

And if you want one in Lugano, who only takes female clients in divorces, I know one.

Tom

Why can't I thank ipoodle for their comment? I don't see the 'thank' option??

st2lemans - thanks for the recommendation, but I have been advised to take a lawyer in Zurich - as that is where we were married/divorced - to keep costs down & due to differing inter canton laws??, language differences, travel costs etc , but thx.

If ANYONE could pls recommend an agressive lawyer - would be greatful. thx

You haven’t posted enough times yet. Don’t worry, once you do the thanks button will appear.

Hello Tom,
I know its an old thread but if you still use this forum, could you give me the name of the lawyer you mentioned?
