We are entering a new age of artificial intelligence. I've been trying a few things out and must say some of it is quite good.
I just used Tripplanner.ai to come up with a four day itinerary for Bergamo. It provided me with sights, times and restaurants. Will I use it? Well, some of it but I will definitely research some of the restaurants mentioned. (It's a group trip of 13, which we can't be too spontaneous).
I've also asked Chatgpt to create lesson plans which were easily adaptable.
How are you incorporating ai into your work/private lives?
Well, ChatGPT and Co. could make the forum more unreadable if people simply, and unattributed, copy great chunks of automatically generated text into threads. I've seen some technical forums ban such tools. Some countries also. Italy for one.
I pasted the subject line of this thread into Chat GPT and this is what came out almost instantly.
A whole lot better than Siri’s “I found this on the web”.
Artificial Intelligence websites can help in various ways depending on their purpose and functionality. Here are some ways in which they can be helpful:
Learning and education: AI websites can provide resources and learning materials for individuals who are interested in AI and want to learn more about the technology. These resources can include articles, videos, tutorials, and interactive exercises.
Research: AI websites can also be useful for researchers who are working in the field of AI. They can provide access to datasets, tools, and libraries that can help researchers develop new AI algorithms and models.
Industry insights: AI websites can also provide insights and information about the latest developments and trends in the AI industry. This information can be helpful for businesses and organizations that want to stay up-to-date with the latest AI innovations and technologies.
Business automation: AI websites can also offer various automation tools that can help businesses automate tasks, such as customer service, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
Problem-solving: AI websites can also provide solutions to complex problems that require advanced algorithms and data analysis. For example, they can help with fraud detection, predictive maintenance, and optimization of business processes.
Overall, AI websites can help individuals and businesses stay informed about the latest AI technologies and applications, and also offer practical tools for solving real-world problems.
But this shows precisely how crap the AI engines can be. With the exception of problem-solving, the answers are all about AI technology. Not application.
I asked ChatGPT What are the potential dangers of ChatGPT?
---------------------------------
As an AI language model, ChatGPT does not have any inherent dangers. However, the way people use it can potentially lead to negative consequences. Here are some of the potential dangers associated with the use of ChatGPT:
Spread of Misinformation: ChatGPT can generate text that sounds credible but may not be accurate. If people use ChatGPT to spread false information or propaganda, it can be difficult to differentiate the truth from the lies.
Amplification of Biases: ChatGPT learns from the data it is trained on, and if that data is biased, it may amplify those biases. This can lead to perpetuating harmful stereotypes and discriminatory practices.
Cybersecurity Threats: If ChatGPT is hacked or manipulated by malicious actors, it can be used to spread misinformation or phishing attacks, leading to identity theft and financial losses.
Manipulation and Deception: ChatGPT can be used to deceive people into believing false information or even impersonate other individuals or entities. This can lead to fraud, scams, or other malicious activities.
Ethical Concerns: The use of ChatGPT raises ethical questions related to privacy, data protection, and the potential impact on employment and social norms. It is important to use AI responsibly and consider the impact of its use on society as a whole.
