I have a 15year old Daughter who needs some extra help with Algebra, as we live in the country an online solution would be helpful (unless you happen to be near SG)
This for an out of the box creative thinker and not your normal 9-5 student.
She's done really well up to now but has run in a brick wall frustrated by the lack of clear explanation and the reliance on students working from textbooks.

Not what you asked for but one of my sons is solving algebraic equations at the moment at school. Looking over his homework, I asked him where the paper was he used to work it out.
He said he did it in his head and wasn't sure what I meant. I explained that when the equations get more complicated, you need to follow a set of stages to solve them and ought to get into practice in writing down those stages.
I showed him how but he insisted he didn't need to. (teenagers...)
Another son also never "showed his working" in maths.
It may just be my kids or it may be a lack of teaching methodology but if your daughter is not working it all out with pen and paper, she ought to start now. It makes it all much easier.
You need to take out a membership in order to contact potential tutors, but you can first browse to see if there are possibilities in your area. Membership doesn’t cost much.
You can also filter for online tutors if you wish to expand the geographical search.
If you decide to join the site, post an ad yourself describing what you need, language of instruction preferred, etc.
Look for Math Nachhilfe in bulletin boards in local schools, or Uni St. Gallen. The old bulletin boards with papers on them
Students from faculty of science or even math offer coaching to improve income. Most of times for gymnasum tests, but they can also handle algebra for 15 YO
I'm in no way qualified, but during my studies, when I realized i didn't understand what the professor said at the chalkboard in the front, I bought a book full of exercises and the corresponding solution-book.
I went back to where I still understood stuff and worked my way forward.
As mentioned, the biggest problem is when things are too easy in the beginning and you get lazy and later have no way of catching up when it's do difficult to just solve it in your head...
