I have managed to stream all the main UK channels
http://zattoo.com/en/tv-channels?cou...nguage=&genre= here in Switzerland. Quality is good and one UK company is offering a secure UK VPN at a small nominal monthly fee. I have no affiliation to this company Also useful for all other streaming UK channels. PM me if you need details
Can we use this to watch UK channels on real-TV without using any computer, it's to noisy to have a computer near my TV?
Not sure what Real-TV is, is it to do with the Real Player. Please end me a link.
You can watch your PC video output on a regular TV, but you'll need a suitable converter (to be found on eBay). This way you can keep your PC in another room and won't hear the noise. However you'll still need to access it to change channels etc. unless you have one of those cordless mice
Is this fee over 6 francs?
Then you would be better off with cablecom
Are you crazy. You would be better off with a poke in the eye with a burnt stick than Cabelcom.
Still no TV in Kloten area for me.
"....better off with cablecom...."
So then tell me why watching BBC One or five on Zattoo is better then CC?
Then CC Box might have issues yes.
But its like
TV on
Box on
Choose channel
SD picture
Zattoo is like
Boot up comp
Mess with cable to the TV
Open VPN
Open Zattoo
Wait for commercial
Watch channel in low quality
So why would that be better?
I mena Zattoo is cool to watch news when working on the comp. But why would you watch Zattoo in your TV?
BTW: You could also get BW-TV of course. Not that this should be a Cablecom commerical.
Hi
I have used Zatoo a while now, when my satillite doesn't work good, the quality is not too bad, I can't get CC, so I am told, any one have the bluewin tv, I am thinking of stopping sky, I am fed up running out to adjust the dish, just can't get it stable, but I would miss the irish canels it offers and the kids stuff.
For Sky you could try an inline amplifier if you have a weak signal.
Satellite amplifier http://www.satshop.ch/product_info.p...89&language=en
Can't help you with the Irish channels, but catchuptv and B*C IPla*yer are available with a vpn.
thats something I could look at, thanks, I have soemtimes very good signal, that tends to dwindle about 8pm ( this all only in the last month sonce we moved hse) but I also would love to find the solution to a good solid stand for the dish, but I will check out the amplifier
