Amazing cars of Switzerland

This last weekend I attended the Corcorso d'Eleganza at the Villa D'Este hotel in Cernobbio, Lake Como. Ferrari presented the SP38 "Deborah", an one-off creation that cost 4MM Euro. I watched the whisper among the gentlemen who brought the car to the hotel's garden and listened to them saying that the owner of the car is resident in canton Zug. I hope to see it driving around here soon.

Does it show?

I tell ya, I'd give my eye teeth to get the chance to ride in (or better yet, drive!) something like this

This is my amazing car in my driveway. It was my DD for 18 months. it is not in CH but in NC, USA. Sold it one year ago to get a 500 ABARTH. We will move to Locarno in July and of course need another car. Another Alfa Romeo Maybe?

I was wondering about the nice mailboxes in Ticino

Where does one put the number-plate on this car?

(Without ruining it's appearance)

NC is one of the few states in USA where it is only required to have number plates in back of car .

Inside the left front grill, as my co-worker does.

Tom

I bet that looks ugly!

I'd go for a garage-number (that's not the English name, I suppose, but you know what I mean, Tom), which you can place inside the window, rofl.

PITA that, they slide across the dash every time you go around a corner.

Anybody can place it inside the window.

Tom

Modern tin boxes, just rock up to the dealer, pay the money and drive it a few Ks and expect everyone to admire it. Typical Swiss and certain foreigners who are probably lacking in other areas.

Quit picking on Xynth!

Yep, saw one this morning.

Coincidence? Probably seen them before but only noticed it now, due to this thread.

Left front grill - didn't look as terrible as I imagined it to.

Good taste sir!

Is it legal everywhere in CH?

The law. (can be switched to French and Italian, no English version)

Even I have a hard time understanding this.

If I get this right, bottom rim must be 20 cm above ground and top rim max. 1.5m above ground?

That would mean, a car can have it in the windscreen, truck can't?
