Our landline is too slow for good internet. We currently have Yallo 4G home, but it’s also too slow for multiple devices. Sunrise have no plans to introduce 5G here anytime soon. Looks like Swisscom have 5G here, so wondering if anyone offers it via Swisscom network?

I do , using one of the mobile abo same-dataplan/number-different-sim thing - up to 750Mbit down and 300 Mbit up ..
Works great - and it's about 4x the bandwith of 4G and 5-10x lower latency (6msec to most of test-servers).
Their own low cost operator wingo does not offer 5G and data subscriptions. Some other interesting operators are not on the swisscom network probably due to high prices. They did spend a lot of money to be the first with a viable 5G network at the moment so I guess they want you to pay swisscom prices.
If the landline is bad try to negotiate. Unfortunately just the 5G hotspot + data subscriptions which is not bad is limited to 30 gb/s at high speed which is nothing so it seems you need to have the mobile subscription with them as well.
Swisscom themselves do not seem to offer a 5G home internet option - or have I missed something? I could only see landline internet and phone subscriptions.
Looks like Swisscom launched a new product by combining DSL and 5G so you get both high speed as well as reliable connection.
Swisscom launches 5G Internet-Booster for the home. Swisscom will soon bring Gigabit Internet to its customers’ homes throughout Switzerland. At its launch, speeds of up to 600 Mbit/s will be available, which will increase to up to 1 Gbit/s in mid-2022. The 5G Internet-Booster combines the existing Internet speed of the copper line with the fastest 5G and 4G mobile network. Swisscom is therefore making even more households ready for highspeed Internet.

I wonder how it works with the packages. Swisscom say my landline will offer Max. 36 Mbit/s download and 12 Mbit/s upload. So would be no point getting more than internet S package. But would the booster take me over that if I had a M or L package? And the other way, would the booster be limited at the package speed limits?

I bought a 5g Router myself (the Huawei one) and got a great deal via Sunrise - unlimited and full speed 5g for 14chf a month, for life (or until I cancel, whichever comes first ).
You might find that Swisscom offer a 5g only data package which you could do something similar with?
