I’d like to learn to draw/sketch. I’m a total beginner and I’m looking for some learning resources, YouTube tutorials etc. I need to start from the very beginning and very basic basics as I’ve done no art since high school like 25 years ago.

Youtube is an excellent resource - even a few well known current artists are “self-taught” from Youtube.
What sort of drawing do you want to do - the human form, portraits, landscapes, still-life, urban sketching, hyper-realism or just a mixture?
I can’t really recommend any Youtube channels as it can be a love-hate thing. Probably best to have a look at a few and see what appeals.
Drawing is like learning the piano - fifteen minutes everyday is better than once a week.
Zuri (who was banned on here last week) mentioned that she did a lot of urban sketching.
Just start and practice. I know people who did just that and ended up making a career of it.
Animals and wildlife ideally. I enjoy wildlife photography, which is difficult in winter in the mountains, so I’d like to do sketching in winter from photos - but that’s a long way off! Baby steps.
If I was going to do wildlife - I’d learn to draw with pastels. (it’s technically seen as painting but practically it’s drawing).
If you google Pastel drawing wildlife, you’ll find some amazing images.
