I was a little surprised today when I saw this. Apparently Monerio is working on offering their cashback platform in English as well. Because I found the signup page in English. https://monerio.ch/ensignup
That would be mega cool of course and make it a bit easier for us English speakers. I like using Monerio, but when I create a Missing Claim or otherwise have questions, everything is in German. Since my German is not really good, it is really difficult for me to navigate, besides the simple cashback.
How do you see this? Do you also think that something will be done here?
Interesting how the website claims to return up to 20%. The majority of the cashback is a lot less.
Also, CHF 242k cashback so far? So how do they make money, by having a higher spread?
I ́d personally hate that I am only allowed to go to a website from their website, have all cookies on and no adblocker. Seems to me a lot of data grabbing?
I haven't looked in to the details of Monerio but if it's anything like Topcashback I wouldn't rule it out... Honestly TCB is one of my favourite sites - I usually get £300-£500 annually (paid as cash in to my bank account).
For example whenever I book a hotel via hotels.com or expedia etc I click through from TCB first and receive 10-11% for my trouble. This is in addition to the hotels.com loyalty points/free nights as well as credit card cashback.
I get quoted the same price for the hotel (or car hire, clothes shopping, Christmas presents etc) no matter whether I visit the merchant's site manually or click through via TCB.
