Any Good Indian Restaurants inn Geneva

I am planning to have Indian food this weekend with my girlfriend. Can anyone advise me on some good Indian restaurants around the cornavin-lake side.

There are 2 nice ones we tried about a year ago.

One is called little india i belive near the train station on the same side of the street about 100meteres up on the left if you turn left as you come out.

The other is upstairs straight across the road from the train station cant remember the name sorry

indian resto in Geneva are overpriced to start with, and also not-so-good (I found resto in Basel to be of better quality though these are also over priced IMHO)

There is another one near station e.g. Bombay .

I have heard many people saying that little india is good, never tried though.

If you have car, you could cross the border and go to Ferny-voltaire, there are 2-3 places there as well

A personal favourite is Cafe Ghandi. http://www.gandhi.ch/ They deliver which is perhaps a big plus when you are busy or hoping for a night in.

To be honest ... the best one is without a doubt "Little India" in Paquis, near Cornavin train station..

The delice of those explosive feelings of aromas and spices are too good that I am full at exploding my stomach when I go out. No one can compete with his fineness ...

Actually, Indian restaurants in Geneva remind me of Indian restaurants in the U.K. 20+ years ago. Lots of gold and red colours, food a bit bland, ok but no real wow factor. With new top chefs moving from India to Britain, things have changed a great deal for the better...this change has not taken place in Geneva.

I would also say Little India is the best Indian restaurant in Geneva

A little way out of Geneva, but the Rajpoute just over the French border in Ornex isnt bad. http://www.rajpoute.fr/en/rest.htm

The one on Rue de la Servette called Indian Village is really good! The people are all very friendly and they adjusted the spiciness and made it perfect. I've tried Little India in Paquis but was not impressed.
