Hopefully not. =) I'll answer that question though. Botox isn't like gel or acrylic nails - where anyone can simply take a course and do it. It's still considered a medical procedure and warrants a person with intimate knowledge of anatomy and the potential side-effects as well as the benefits of Botox. Injecting it requires a level of skill that ensures the result is esthetic and functional. And, fortunately this is recognized because in some countries it can only be injected by a medical professional.
one day you think it's ok as long as it's done professionally, the other you hear horror stories on the media and you think: stupid me, how could I even think it was ok...
Based on last science news this product is a good way to gain cancer. May God help you and and guide you to find right reviews about this product. This product is called as toxin too.
Go to body esthetic in Seefeld, botox starts at CHF 200 and Dr. van der Kruijssen does an excellent job, not sure if he is still there, though. He also has his own practice in Oberwil, Zug, that may be closer for you.
As for everyone else - the question was not whether botox is a good choice, but where to get it. Botox is also used for many medical purposes such as against migraines, nervous tics and sweating.
pls look at the news video i have posted. I don't want to be smart here and try to find many facts and argue with you. My main goal is to help people understand the risk they are trying to take.
So why have something done if it's not going to make a difference Ah, my research assistant has just explained it's about hoping spending CHF250 will help fill the crushing pain of existence confidence.
Why don't you start anti-smoking campaign instead? Certainly greater risk and more people affected by it? Being forced into passive smoking from time to time, I am very thankful to the activists for such intervention into other people's lives!
Anyway, I recommend this English speaking plastic surgeon, with offices in Zug and Zurich Bellevue: http://www.prevention-center.com/
Did laser hair removal there and know they offer all kind of prevention procedures, including botox.
If you have a close look at the qualifications of the doctors there, you'll see that they are in fact not specialised in plastic surgery, nor are they certified by Acredis. I have scars on my leg from a treatment I had there, this may have been bad luck but it's my experience.
Well now this is scary. What kind of procedure would leave scars on your leg? I thought there's only one doctor - Dr.Kohler. The cosmetic procedures, such as hair removal etc are done by his wife and couple other beauticians.
There is nothing in this video about Botox and cancer. They simply explain that Botox can in rare instances spread throughout the body. What they don't include, however, is that this risk isn't to the general public. It's people who get Botox therapeutically for issues such as cervical dystonia. Also keep in mind that these people receive much higher doses than those who get it cosmetically.
I'm pretty sure that if you were suffering from some of the conditions that warrant treatment with this product, you'd take Botox as well. The benefits of Botox far outweigh this very rare risk mentioned in your video.
Very well said - to only name a few too. I have a friend who receives Botox injections for her migraines. Another receives it for Graves disease (and loves the additional benefit of no wrinkles!).
Same here, I get really dreadful headaches and sometimes migraines due to tension - Botox helps reduce this a lot. In fact, I'm due for a top up but can't afford it at the moment and of course the headaches are back. Health insurance doesn't cover it but I can understand that, otherwise everyone who wants botox would be saying they have headaches.
I don't know where you get this idea from, but it's a basic rule of internet/usenet discussions that anything you post about is open to criticism and debate. The OP is free to ignore genuine questions if he/she wants, but I'm sure doesn't need your help in doing so.
