Any recommendations for botox in Zurich or surrounds?

I have been doing this once/twice a year in the UK but really need to find a recommended practioner in Zurich or surrounding regions. Too many times I see botox offered as an add-on service in a beauty salon or haridressers. This cannot be right!

Cant help you there, but wondered if you had considered going over the border to germany to get it done, i assume the price difference would be interesting

can I just ask,

is this for vanity reasons? if so, why would you even consider having this poison injected into you?

don't take this the wrong way, I genuinely would like to know

why don't you stop one of those frighteningly deformed old ladies looking like they've just stepped out of one the many botox shops around bahnhofsstrasse and ask them?

sorry, I just couldn't resist, zurich must be botox and silicon paradise - it shouldn't be difficult to find all sorts of offers, at all levels and for all prices.

the effect will always be the same, though

I'd like to know why you think it 'cannot be right' to do this at a beauty salon, but clearly don't think there's anything wrong with the idea in principle, otherwise you'd not be having it done yourself (and twice a year?).

If you think the procedure itself is acceptable, why shouldn't it be done by anyone who's been properly trained?

actually, it seems it's the other way round: youth-seeking ladies and gents come from germany and france to zurich, beleive it or not. probably for discretion and quality they don't mind paying a bit more.

when it will be my turn, I'll be sure to have the job "made in switzerland", no cheap imitations for me thanks

Dunno why you groan Nil, it wasn't so many years ago people used arsenic for makeup, now you wouldn't dream of using it, and for me botox is in the same category, its a by product of something that kills you, what it does really cannot be good for a person in the long term, and I cannot understand why anyone would voluntarily use it.

I tend to agree with you, but after all the OP was just asking for help with her quest, not if we think botox is good.

I myself tend to be critical and really shocked when I see the bad results in women and men who had it done, but who knows what the future will bring... maybe one day I'll be be saving for that instead of for shoes

People only notice the bad results. I know quite a lot of people who get Botox and they look super. You'd never know they've had anything done.

Big Blue honey, it has nothing personal, I promise.

The op ask a question and it is none of our business why she ask it. She didnt ask what we think about it.

I know, but I'm curious

Yes but why do you take offence at a question being asked ? One can choose not to answer.

I wouldn't really say it was a question..maybe a rhetorical one.

And Ace1's question ? Certainly there's no malice intended at all there.

This is a classic case of people on this forum giving their opinions and being generally annoying when the post is simply asking for specific advice.

I've always thought that Wetzikon would look good with a bit of filler and its laughter line removed ....

So I will recommend Wetzikon and the Oberland for some botox

Then don't ask on an open forum then, get off your arse and search in google, or the phone book, botox is a brandname so should be simple to search for.

Don't like it here? no one is forcing you to login

When i see "recommendations for botox", my answer would be "I recommend you don't do it".

Then again, it's entirely up to you whether you want the toxin from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum injected into your head.

She asked for recommendations , with a big forum like this it is ok to assume that some one here has had it done and can recommend a good doctor...
