Wondering if it is worth the trouble using a CDN? My website is with Infomaniak. Has anybody connected their website with Cloudfare's free CDN? Any troubles or drawbacks? Any noticeable improvements? Is it worth one's time to do this? Thanks in advance.
I used Cloudflare some 6 or 7 years ago as it was included in my hosting package. I can't say there was any improvement or difference, except when it went down which it did a couple of times. I think unless you have visitors from all over the world, there is little advantage...
I used it to replace my DNS server and got CDN for free.
Works fine, though of course it adds an extra layer to things. So there are pros and cons.
