Anybody on the forum uses www.kashflow.com for their Swiss company?

Good day all!

Anybody on the forum uses www.kashflow.com for their Swiss company?

Any downside to use UK accounting software for a Swiss company?

Or is it all data storing and calculations and reports sort of thing?

I'm asking this because I was using Kashflow for many years and I like it a lot.

Kashflow / IRIS is very much geared to UK law. So payroll/tax etc will not work here. It will do all the other stuff fine. Alternatives like Xero or Quickbooks are also not Switzerland specific. Abacus is Swiss and you may just use the payroll module.

What is your company size/sector?

Thanks! One man band, with possible 1 extra person in the next 12 months.

for very simple have a look at zoho books. Xero has more functionality and will work with mt940 from your bank for automatic reconciliation. none does swiss payroll but that would be ok for you being alone.

alternative for abacus is winbiz for switzerland.

better to outsource completely in my view if it is distracting you from your business

A CH product ( Banana Accounting 8 ) that I have heard people talking about. I have not tried it myself. You can get it in EN if you need it.

Banana Accounting is cheap but you need to be into excel and have experience. It is not for the entrepreneur that just wants to do easy bookkeeping. (unless you love excel)

I've committed to Kashflow for a year. Mainly becase I'm familiar with and can concentrate more on other important stuff within the business.

No Exel knowledge here. I hate it.

When introduced to Kashflow, I started liking bookkeeping.

If in future I see that I'm loosing on features because Kashflow is geared for UK law, will think about changing. Cheers

I'm looking at changing from Xero to Bexio, because the latter synchronises with my bank, allows you to generate invoices with orange slips and sorts out the Swis sVAT return at the click of a button. Anyone any experience?
