Would be great to have some more information......will be very helpful for people (like me) wich dont have job :-(

Thanks in advance.

a quick check of Basel Airport website might give you a few clues.....

Or even just walking round the place!

Jet Aviation

AMAC Aerospace

Swiss

Lufthansa Technik

Air Service Basel

to name a few....

And what sort of jobs your applying for. Pilot, cabin crew, cleaner, marketing, waitress, aircraft engineer, IT Consultant?

There are dozens of companies at the airport. You might as well ask if there are any companies in the city.

Ive been looking around in website and in the airport, seems loke there is no work for non qualified persons!!

I just studied a course of administration, but is not valid in Switzerland. so ill keep on searching.

Do you want to work in the airport or in the hangars?

When I say in the hangars . . I mean the different maintenance/completions companies

Hangars???

Err, good luck with the job search. It'll be like your bike search

If you go for an interview anywhere I advise you not to ask that question!!

Yes . . . Its where the planes live . . .

I miss working at the airport

I just asked if anybody knows companies that works at the airport.....

And i dont know what hangars is.....is what happen when english is not your mother tongue.

LOL it is a French word actually What is it that Bush said 'of course the French do not have a word for entrepreneur'. Bonne chance with the job search.

Funny, it's the same word in Spanish:

Oh, and it is the same in Spanish apparently

I understand it must be very difficult if English is not your mother tongue but if you want to work at (for example) Amac, Jet, ASB etc then you need to know that word ....... I guess what I wanted to know is, do you want the names of these types or companies or airlines?

Bush should have looked at the French tax office website to see a special tax regime for 'auto-entrepreneurs'

It's what you puts your blouses and shirts on before carefully to placing in the wardrobes I am thinking.

Are you looking for Airlines?

Think thats spelt Hanger?

On topic: have you checked the stores on the duty-free? I am guessing though you will at least need to speak German or French.

Off topic: the word for Hangar in Spanish is ... wait for it... Hangar ...
