Just wonder what can one do apart from writing email to the seller?
I dont have the phone contact, just email. The seller has over 200 positive reviews so I didn't expect this. But it has been two weeks since my payment and not hearing any reply from him.
Anyone has similar problem before? What else have you done except leaving a negative review?
Thanks so much in advance.
Have you tried contacting Ricardo customer service? Has the person got a phone number? Have you tried calling them? How many times have you emailed? In fact, have you started harassing them yet?
Thanks for the reply.
The seller leaves no telephone no. so I only emailed him twice.
I have yet to harassing him cause my German level is not ideal so at this stage I am only able to write a formal letter in German but not a harassing letter
As far as I know, before you can sell on Ricardo, you have to get verified or something. So they send you a letter with a code you enter before you can start selling so they know you are a legit person not some scammer. Maybe if you find the customer support contact you can let them know coz I think they have the ability to trace him and find out whats happening.
That would be my best advise. Good luck.
Well, I wouldn't start harassing anybody as yet. You never know, maybe there is a plausible explanation for all that. I would try contacting Ricardo at first. Let me know if you need anything translated..
I thought leaving phone number is essential to register on ricardo.ch?
Try using a different email to write him.. sometimes their @whatever.ch email filtered other [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) / non.ch emails to spam.... or try the 'ask a question' on his other selling pages, if he has...
Hallo, I recently experienced the similar situation. I bid an iPhone 16 plus on Ricardo, the auction ended at Friday midnight, after I won the auction, the seller first try to call me, and then send me a message ask to pay him money by TWINT or bank transfer. I paid him via TWINT the next day, and messaged him has paid via TWINT and asked him to confirm receipt of the payment, and got no response. The next Monday try to message him again, and he said he doesn’t want to sell the phone anymore, but he won’t return the money either, most rediculos he said he is following Ricardo guidelines. I reported him to Ricardo, the only thing they can do is to let you send send him an email on their behalf, and offer you a max CHF 250 buyer protection. I plan though to report him to Police.
