I, on the other hand, have met LIB in person and know for a fact that he is a person, and not some alien cat eating monster. Has anyone ever seen Adrian?
The cat stayed with my ex when we separated; I received a message a few months ago saying 'he was sorry but had to leave the cat behind and was moving to Europe 2 days later'. How appalling. It didn't occur to him to inform me before. Then I guess he felt bad about it following my reaction and told me 'everything was in control' and that the cat had to stay for 2 months for the rabies injections with a friend's gardener. The guy never took him to have his second injection so I lost another 2 months. Anyway, I'm trying to find solutions here. I might (just might) have someone traveling back to Paris next week. I'm waiting to hear back...
You need to make sure the paperwork will work for France as well as Switzerland. There may be some different requirements to bring it into France and there may be more paperwork needed to come from France into Switzerland.
Hi, I've checked for all possible solutions. It'd much easier for the cat to arrive in Paris if my brother's friend takes the cat in the cabin (and so much cheaper, 300 dollars vs 4000!!). I spoke to someone at BLV yesterday and explain about the possible change of plans and was v surprised when they told me it'd fine to bring the cat though the border via train or car with the papers the vet already provided. No logics here, just money being made by airlines and the Swiss authorities I guess...
