Looking at a home tomorrow and one of the features is this: “2 abschliessbare Zimmer”. Anyone know what that means? By pure translation, it means I can lock two rooms - but don’t all doors have locks and why would it be a special feature?
Thanks!

That's my imagination playing.
Edit: Actually if it is the ad I'm looking at, there seems to be a "Durchgangszimmer" - a room through which you reach an other room. So if someone lived in that one, of course they could not lock it or the one behind would no longer be accessable.
P.S. The ad does not feature anything about it being shared...
My suspicion would be that this refers to 2 bedrooms which can be locked as opposed to a large open living/kitchen area (equalling 1.5 rooms) which can't be locked or separated specifically.
But a curious wording indeed.
I’ll let you guys know tomorrow after I see it.
Top floor is one room reachable by a staircase. As it has no door it is not lockable.
Still a strange feature to include in the listing, but now other EFers will know if they see such a listing in the future.
