Does anyone know the story behind the ginger moggy which seems to rule the town? I'm assuming it has no official owner, as many shops and homes seem to put out food for it? S/he get huge amounts of attention from passers-by, and looks in good health - seems to love sitting on recently parked cars - the cat version of heated seats?!

There's a very fluffy and laaaarge cat that seems to sleep on top of cars in Gland close to the Denner... I think it belongs to the shop keeper of the place where it roams around at. Just not sure if I should be petting it or my own cat may get jealous
