Has anyone bought a car in this dealer? the car has a 43% discount, which is amazing...
I'm really looking for experiences with this dealer. I know that it's a "supermarket" and there's really no service but if they are reliable I'm ok with that.
I also have doubts concerning warranties...

A used car with 43% off is nothing special as many dealers are giving 25-30 due to euro weakness.
It would have helped to post a link to the car.
I wouldn't worry about people snatching away the car from you.
Unlike houses, there's no shortage of cars in Switzerland.
The car will have a factory warranty , in any case cars are reliable these days .

ADU doesn't care about cars or people. They like financing much better.
Basiclaly not the same spec cars as you get here on the models I looked at, imported from a non EU source and warranty is written on the country of origin so it was less than a Swiss/EU car, and the service package wasn't included. And yes the loan they pushed was almost twice the interest rate I got from Renault, and the trade price was so low it looked up at whale poo.
Just a shoddy, sharky operation offering budget sourced cars with lower than Swiss prices for a lower than Swiss standard car, and as it will have import in log book expect lower resale value to.
My tip, take a print out of the car from Auto Discount to a proper Swissy dealership and ask for a price match... you'll be surprised at the deals you get offered on a full spec/warranty/service pack car with full dealership back up. I got 38% discount in the, so paid exactly what ADU were asking but from a proper main agent and 4 years warranty (2 with ADU) and 4 years servicing (sod all from ADU), and a set of winter boots costing almost a grand (never got that far with ADU), and a lease that cost me almost CHF 100 pm less with a lower residual than offered by ADU, and double the trade value of my old car than ADU were offering (yep loan sharks ay ADU).... and not a greasy dude called Igor with slick backed hair and gold teeth in sight... normally
Purchased a car when we first arrived, paid cash for it. Had some issues with the car within a few months. Went back and they misteriously had no record of us ourchasing it from them. Closed the door on us basically. The car was supposed to have a warrenty, but claiming on that was next to impossible.
We were advised by Auto discount to find a local dealer that would deal with the issue under warrenty. So we did and the guy at the dealer basically told us to f off. Because we bought it from Auto Discount they were not prepared to fix the car under warrenty as he would not receive his money from the manufacturer. He was very vocal about Auto discount and said how Swiss dealers do not deal with cars bought from them as they under cut them so much in price they cannot service the warrenties.
We went back to Auto discount and they said its not there problem but they 'would look into it'. .........to this day we are still waiting for a response.
We have since sold the car, taken a huge loss and bought from a local dealer instead.
Personally, Auto Discount are sharks. Once they have your money/loan service agreement you can say goodbye to any aftersales. It just doesn't exist. They seem to convieniently always be busy when you need them. It took me going down there and refusing to leave the guys office before he would agree to even talk to me. Terrible!

They are known for buying cars from Eastern Europe hence they are cheap, but often are not the same Swiss specification, and don't come with the same service or warranty package, but they are cheap, and often the saving googgles make people blind... with ADU... Caveat emptor is the the key phrase
build quality: how do you expect a factory to adapt it's build quality per country? I know that all things Swiss have to be better by default, but any car coming off the line will be the same regardless weather it goes to Switzerland or Romania. Of course do some brands have factories the world over and a Brazilian or South African VW Polo is probably worse than a German made one (but also WAY cheaper...). I don't think you can find this within the EU.
One such example I can tell you, is the Opel Astra Classic edition found at the Eastern Europe markets. You can not buy this car anywhere else.The car looks like any other Opel Astra, except on the inside it has been stripped to the bare minimum. No isolation, no foam, no extra layers behind the door panels etc to keep noise down. The car drives nothing like a Opel Astra bought in Germany or Switzerland.

Anyway, there are subtle differences betwen a Polish BMW and a Swiss BMW, tyres were Khuomo instead of Continentals, lack or difference of equipment (which i was aware of), day time running lights were not LED version but incorporated in the head lights, no mirror in pasenger side sun blind....etc
All smallish little things, but evidently add up to make the saving. The basic car/engine/gearbox is the same, just details and specification changes.
It is the offical importer who decides with the constructer the level and quality of equipment.
Since then I had few problems with it and all have been managed by Hyundai garage in CH (3 times) within a warranty.
I can't compare it with the same model which could be available in Switzerland so don't know about the finishing and parts. For me it was 10'000 cheaper than same model+specs available in the Hyundai garage at that time.
