Hi all,
need your help,
it seems you can not just go and buy an auto warranty, it must be through a dealership/garage.
My garage gave me a 1yr standard warranty on my used car with 23K km, its a 2011.
They are also offering an extended warranty with http://www.suissefox.ch/ but its a little too high for 2 years 1800 CHF. I have seen other dealers giving their guarantee for 500 per year.
Any help where i can get an auto guarantee by myself in Switzerland? I already have road side assistance with my insurance.
What year is the car? What make?
As for SwissFox - their website is under construction - which is pathetic web design!!
VW Golf 1.6 TDI
first time in circulation aug 2010. 23K km on the car,
VW have a 3 year guarantee - leaving 2 years remaining on the current warranty.
Why waste money on a guarantee? It's an almost new!
The 500 ones will only cover a few items & you have have to bring your grandparents with you if you wish to claim (i.e. a con)
Thanks for your reply,
how do i check if my VW has a warranty left on it?
