Apple launched with great acclaim the MacBook Neo earlier this year. In June Apple upped their prices across the board and added CHF100.- to the two Neo models.
BUT Fust.ch is still selling theses in their stores and online at the original prices…
You could also avoid them by not buying a Mac!

To put Apple prices rises into context, DRAM and NAND prices have risen sharply due to Ai centres slurping up global supply, further exacerbated by the drop in helium supply due to the War.
So expect prices of PCs and Laptops to increase by approx 15–20% across the board. I would say buy now before the likes of Lenovo, HP, Dell etc.. follow suit (if they haven’t already).
If anyone needs an old laptop. Got a few collecting dust. Willing to part for original asking price.

The Neo is crap anyway, not speaking about performance as this is good enough for many use cases but the architecture, so wait for Neo 2, even if the price increases it’s worth it, or buy any M4/M5 air if you need it now.
IMO iphone 17e is the best deal in town.
Already done - I have clients who had put laptop refreshes on hold for a few months hoping for the RAM price to stabilise (and stock to return - as lead times right now are quite high for anything decent)
I hope they can delay the refreshes to after 2030…
