We have just had a baby and we need to get a couple of things or her including a baby bay. They are very expensive here in Switzerland. I found them on amazon.de but they won't deliver to Switzerland.
There's also a Baby One in Laufenburg (cross the bridge over River Rhine, turn left at the very first roundabout, it's on your right after 200 m or so). ( www.babyone.de ) Laufenburg is closer to Zurich than Konstanz, but a lot smaller. Then again, I prefer Baby One over Baby Walz.
There is a baby shop in Konstanz. Head into Konstanz through the main border crossing from the Autobahn. Once you've crossed the bridge & heading into Konstanz with the lake on your right, it will be on your left... Practically next door to Media Markt. Was there last weekend! It's pretty good.
The store referred to in the quote is called Bübchen & Mädchen, it's at Reichenaustrasse 34, Konstanz.
Around the corner from Baby Walz (which I can recommend for its size and range) is a small baby shop with really cool stuff, called Rasselfisch. It's at Max-stromeyer-strasse 13a, next to the Lidl.
I also prefer Baby One and shopping in Laufenburg over Konstanz in general. For a day out, I like Konstanz, but for serious shopping Laufenburg is much better with DM, Müller, Edeka, Schlecker, etc. all very close together!
I just wanted to say that I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with that lack of proper customer service at the Baby Walz in Konstanz. My husband and I ordered a baby stroller from them over 6 weeks ago, and we STILL have not heard back from the about when we can go to pick it up. We have emailed them numerous times, but have never received a single response. And every time we call them, no one picks up their phone!
Anyways, I just thought I'd try to spare anyone else of possibly having a similar experience. (The majority of the items sold on their website and in their catalog are not kept in stock at the Konstanz store.)
Also -- thank you to the posters above who mentioned the other/alternative baby stores in Konstanz. I also plan to check them out.
