Baby's knees

Hello dear all

My little Hunmaster junior is crawling all over the place and ain't stoppable. The problem is now his both knees are really red and scratched.

Is there anything I can do to keep the skin protected and soft?

Tie him up is not an acceptable solution adrianlondon and midfield.

Get a good/soft carpet.

I've seen knee-guards for crawling babies in a babywalz catalogue once. At that time it seemed to me to be the most pointless thing ever, but then my kids did not have problems with their knees.

*shrug*

somehow I woulda thought Nil woulda known all about knee pads, carpet burn, et. al.

My aunt told me she cut the toes off socks and pulled them up over her sons knees. Have no idea how that conversation got started come to think of it...

Thanks Grynch (for the pics) I had no idea about those. My daughter didn't crawl long enough.

I already bought some on amazon!

Much Appreciated!

You should move back to Basel. By the time it's warm enough to take trousers off of him then he'd be walking

but he gets those irritations with trousers on and off.

Speedy crawler

But you still should come back

Not stoppable you say?

He's too skinny! My chubby chubby girl has a layer of fat on her knees to cushion her

Just kidding, I'm sure your son is perfect as he is

He is, and the smell.... It is like drug!

Tie him down.

Weleda - cream for red and damage baby/kids skin.

I am mesmirised by this picture .. I mean .. did someone really really do this to their child? Really?

It's hilarious and what really cracks me up is the duck being up there too ...

Adrian .. you've never had to babysit MiniMimi have you?

I ordered the baby knee pads for my first kid and then for the second, I just cut the tube part off of my orphan tube socks (damn dryer eats them) and slid them up the leg and let them cover the knee and top of the leg. I find that women's socks work best since they are smaller. Good luck! It is so fun to watch these milestones - congrats!

I use baby legwarmers for bubba under his trousers I use these when we go out to as then when i carry him there is no exposed leg plus they are super cheap but the knee pads you brought look v. funky...
