Only very few truly interesting, long-established shops remain – now chain after chain, with no culinary highlights, crowded and endlessly under construction, uncomfortable and noisy. No charm at all – the style is overly cold, lifeless.
As Yogi Berra once said, nobody goes there anymore- it’s too crowded.
As Yogi Bear once said -
“Don’t worry, Boo Boo. If we get caught, we’ll just tell them it was all just a misunderstanding!”
Or was that Boris Johnson?
I’m not sure Bahnhofstrasse ever had much charm.
There are other streets in Zurich which have always been more charming and lively.
Having said that, around Christmas time, with Franz Karl Weber in its prime and the lights up, it was quite special for kids.
It still beats going to the EPCOT.

Soon the only shops left will be those for the “dirty rich shits”!
Which one do you belong to? The dirty, the rich or just a shit?
I am above all three.

Play the ball, not the player…blah, blah…
Why? Jelmoli has left and Manor is returning. Isn’t it good for normal people?
