Basel Serviced Apartment Advice on Price?

Hi Everyone

I am moving to Basel in a few weeks and trying to sort out a place to live, I have been offered a service apartment for 1290 CHF per month it is 25 Square metres in size and includes all bills and internet... The place is about 10 mins walk from the centre.

I was wondering if that sounds like a good price?

I have been looking on homegate and there is much cheaper places, but sometimes cheaper is not better...

any advice greatly appreciated

thanks

Olly

That's not bad for a serviced/furnished studio apartment.

Where is it ?

Its actually not bad considering everything for Serviced Apartments.

Can you give me the link as well , one of my colleague is looking , he is tired of staying in hotels.

Are there any furnished apartments in Basel Landschaft? I want to live outside the city. I prefer furnished one to 1.5 bedroom apartment? Thanks for above thread

That is a decent price provided you are covering all bills and if apartment is well maintained.

Buga Apartments:

They have furnished apartments in Reinach, BL.

May I ask how long the agreement is for?

ie is for notice period of 1 month, 3 months, a minimum of a year.

BTW, don't know how the laundry facilities work with serviced apartments, if it does not have washing machine in the apartment, check out what access you have for the shared washing machines/dryer area?

price sounds good, particularly as it includes internet.

Do you particularly want a serviced apartment? For the same price, you could get a nice one bedroomed unfurnished apartment plus a balcony, that is twice that size. I furnished mine for under 1000chf ( and could have done it for less.

Even if you were only staying a year, that works out less than 100 a month extra for having a bit of space.
