Ski touring demands a lot from the body. What if batteries and motors make your way to the top much easier?
Overall, it reminds me of a very capable 4x4. It allows to go further down the trail. But, all 4x4s break, so all the 4x4 does is to leave you stranded in a more difficult situation than a normal car. However, with enough food and water it’s only difficult, not deadly.
In the case of ski touring, this means bringing people to situations where they are not able to save themselves. I guess this will generate a lot of headlines in the future.
