It is very handy. I've been using it for about 6 months now, and find it great to catch up with things I've missed. I download programmes to keep to watch when I'm on a long journey. Great stuff.

It's supported by on-browser adverts (specifically it seems a rather bolshy attempt by Exxon Mobil to convince us they're saving the planet) but they're not too obtrusive.
Just as a point to note, this wouldn't exclude you from Billag. You've still got to shell out for it.

Billag is a tax on breathing....if you hear someone speaking in the next room, Billag classes it as owning a radio.
Nice idea, but no Mac, Linux, or Unix variants. Back to using dodgy free VPNs and Proxies for me then.

There is a website called ' zattoo.com ', it's free and you can watch itv and bbc on there. i signed up for a while and it was a godsend. before we had english channels, i even hooked the laptop up to the tv and watched x factor live from that website. hope some of you guys will find it useful as well
Download "Expat Sheild" - it works. It does come with a lot of junk and search bar and will drop adds in at the top of your browser window. But iPlayer works!
