Didn’t pay too much attention today and ended up with these two in the cart, only realized when unloading at home… They were literally two aisles apart in the same Coop
To paraphrase. Be careful what you buy at the Coop. In particular double-check the use-buy dates for dairy and meet.
The funny thing is that between the two bags above, the more expensive one expires in November but the cheaper one in may next year (!)
Not sure it’s only Coop - I haven’t caught them yet, but wouldn’t be surprised if Migros does the same. I did found quite a few miscalculated discounts in Migros in the last years…
Not just dairy and meat, coop is terrible for selling expired products of all types.
I check the dates very carefully.
Take it back to the shop. In my experience (twice, but ok…) they are pretty apologetic and readily give a refund or replacement. One of the two occasions I didn’t even have the receipt.
If you’ve got a Supercard, you can find your receipts on the app.
Actually, now that you made me look, Coop was correct and charged me the best low price for both bags
I’m happy with that
The barcode seems to be the same indeed.
