Can anyone recommend a way to fix this? some company that will uninstall the head from the bed and re-wrap it in a new fabric? I asked the seller of the bed for an offer but it was nothing short of 1.5k for which I could already get a new bed. But I am also happy with mine.
If so, I suggest measuring them and seeing if there are covers sold by IKea that match the size.... you may be lucky...
Otherwise, take the cushion to an upholsterer. and ask for a quote... but it's going to be quite expensive in Switzerland. Or take them with you over the border to Germany to an upholsterer....
It's not hard to sew them (if you know how to use a sewing machine)....but I'd need an industrial sewing machine - my little home one would not be able to sew vinyl.... but it's not hard to sew a new cover, in an easier fabric.
Do you want the new cover to be vinyl or something else ? I don't think it would be hard to take the cushions off the bed, and I also don't think it would be difficult to sew a 'slipcover' to go over it (which could then be washable)....
Amazon.de sells different styles of headboard covers that are usually made of stretchy fabric in various sizes. They’re usually not very expensive and slip over your existing headboard. Perhaps you could find one (or two) that will fit and that will match the color of your bed (I do see a cream-colored one in there):

Amazon also sells actual headboards in various sizes. They often mount to the wall, if you wanted to just remove your existing headboard and replace it.
