Beginners Adult Ballet Classes in English

I have found a woman that will teach beginners adult ballet classes in English on Tuesday evenings 19:00 - 20:00. The location would be Villa Egli, Höschgasse 4, 8008 Zurich. I am looking for anyone else that is interested in joining this. If I can find a couple of others the cost will be 20CHF per session. PM me if you are interested!

Hi all!

New to Switzerland here

Resurrecting this thread as I'm very interested in english-speaking adult ballet classes myself.

Did the above arrangements result in any classes happening? If not, anybody interested in starting something like this around January?

Do you have any other experiences/recommendations for english-speaking adult ballet classes?

(I am a semi-beginner, with 18 months experience)

Actually found this in my old messages. Not sure it is valid but this is the woman that taught us and her mobile #.

I do not know if the classes are still going on or not. You can contact the woman that was teaching it to find out. Her name is Samantha

I'd be interested as well in the ballet classes, but cannot do Tuesday nights. Wednesdays would work better for me. Does anyone have any further info about this? Thanks in advance

Tuesdays don't work for me either. I haven't contacted them yet, I'll post an update when I do.

Hi lildeb, did you actually try her lessons? Would you recommend her? I am looking for ballet or flamenco lessons, and it would be great if they could be in English too... thanks a lot!

we will move in September 2012 and my wife is desperately looking for ballet classes for adults.

Hi,

I know a great teacher who does many different ballet classes in English as well! Depending on your level and convenience, you could choose whichever you like. I started 1 year ago, and I really like her style. Now I attend the classes on different levels as frequently as possible at least 2 times a week mostly 3 or 4 times a week, from every level you get something else.

The dance studio is close to Bahnhof Tiefenbrunen in Seefeld, nice location too, and there is always a parking spot in case you prefer to come with the car.

I am also looking for adult ballet classes that are reasonably priced, taught in English, taught relatively late at night, but perhaps in a more central location.
