Best for cleaning bathroom tiles

I am looking for recommendations (hope this is the correct section). Although I clean my bathroom tiles regularly and always air the room after 1 year I have noticed slight discolouration (darkening) on some of the tiles. To be more precise the discolouration is on the plaster between the tiles. The tiles themselves are in perfect condition. Also no mould on ceiling or anywhere. Just this slight discolouration.

As I am set to move apartment this year I want to address this before hand over. It's not bad, but I can see it.

Regular bathroom cleaner and a sponge does not move it. Could anyone recommend what professional cleaners might use to lift this?

Many thanks!

I use a steam cleaner on our tiles (as well as on our sealed wood floors) and am quite happy with it.

But I guess it's the grout between the tiles that you are wanting to clean. You could try cleaning it with a "Fugenreiniger" like this one:

Although, first, you could try scrubbing the grout with a grout brush -- something like this:

I've seen brushes like that sold in Migros too, though -- usually where the sponges and other cleaning brushes are sold.

I line the grout with paper towels and then spray bleach onto it and leave it overnight with ventilation-- peel off hours later and it's all white again.

I use some table vinegar (about 1 CHF a bottle) and a squirt of normal dish soap in a spray bottle with some water to dilute the strength. That really made the bathroom tiles shine and grout shine like new even though they are 20 years old.

I use this on the Tiles and Grout, its very easy to use and not dangerous.
