I’ve got some pics of our recent trip that I want to share with friends and family. Can anyone suggest a good site where I can post private photos to share?

Imgur doesn’t appear to be private. I don’t want to share with the planet.
I personally have a OneDrive account and from there its quite easy to share files or folders and share the link only with people you want. It’s not free per se, but i have I don’t know how many gigabytes that come along various subscriptions we have (office, xbox live, etc).
Its also quite convenient if you use Windows as it integrates really well and becomes a simple folder locally so anything you have there is automatically synced online. I can move between my laptop and the family PC and all my documents are in My Documents irrelevant from where I log in
Imgur gives you a choice of how you want to share your images; they don’t just splash on to their website willy nilly.
I think if you used the imge link or direct link options and then shared that with friends/family they could then click on the link to directly see the photos.

Then don’t share at all. Once people can access it with a browser, they can copy the images…
I guess you could use iCloud to share to specific persons.
Another option might be Google Drive.
I’m trying out iCloud photo sharing that appears to give me what I’m looking for without putting my content out in the deep dark.
