Best store around Zurich for a washing maching and installation service

Hello,

Looking for a large electronics store in the Zurich vicinity that has an installation service. Must have a big variety of machines. All the Fust I've been to are so small. Interdiscount and Mediamarkt don't appear to do installation.

Just to add--- don't want to buy online because we have questions.

Otherwise, Nettoshop has a few but I haven’t been there.

Mediamarkt do do installation, they installed ours. The details are all on their website.

Maybe we got lucky but the two guys who did ours were absolutely fantastic.

This is an ‘old style’ appliance store, where the folks you speak to actually know their stuff. They advise, sell, deliver, and install. They have quite a good selection, but not everything under the sun.

Nice people, happy to take the time to advise you.

Be aware that supply chain problems are still affecting the industry. Anywhere you go, even the big box stores, might have longer waiting times for delivery so do be sure to clarify that and set your expectations accordingly

This! We absolutely had to get a new machine as ours was killed when the cellar flooded. I had been without a machine for over two weeks and really didn’t want to abuse our neighbour’s kindness any longer although I’m sure she would have happily continued to do our laundry.

We went to lots of places and basically had a choice between two machines which were in stock at Mediamarkt and could be delivered within a few days, everything else had to be ordered and would take who knows how long to be delivered.

I am not sure what kind of installation service you mean, but if you simply want the washing machine connected to existing hook-ups, you can order it from galaxus with delivery and installation.

Galaxus doesn’t do the installation/hook-up themselves, but subcontract it.

Yes-- our lease stipulates that we need to have the washing machine professionally installed.

But are the water, drain and electricity points already there? This is the biggest issue. Anyone you speak to about buying and installing a machine will need to know what connections are available.

The other issue is access. If you don't have a lift you need to communicate this.
