Best Zurich Bars for Fun Group Reservation?

Hello! Looking for some recommendations: I'm looking for a bar where:

1 ) I can reserve a corner or a lounge for a group

2) Is rather lively between 8 p.m. and midnight

3) Serves small bites such as tapas or mezze

4) 30 and 40 somethings won't feel too out of place

5) Maybe even has a dance floor

Does such a place exist in Zurich? Recommendations appreciated!

How big is your group likely to be?

Probably between 20 and 30, but it's not important that we can all sit down.

dancefloor from 8-12pm? for how long you're in Europe? i havent heard of a place where a party starts before 1am. what i suggest is Saturday at Le Cedre on Badenerstrasse, reserve 2 large tables upstairs for mezze and some belly dancing girl. head on to Talacker Bar and reserve the huge sofa. it has music/dj on, you can be outside and inside as a group... good space for that. also what you can do is go to Hotel Bar. nice place, service, drinks, staff. eventually 20-30 peeps might be a bit crammed in.

Le Cedre is great.

The belly-dancer.... I sort-of remember her, but it was almost 10 years ago.

It's also expensive. Do you foot the bill or is somebody else paying?

It's much more fun when someone else pays ;-)

Though, with the mezze, there is a tendency to eat too much.

I felt a bit like the wolf in "Little Red Riding Hood" last time.

$Work paid for it - but we had to work the next day. So we barely drank any alcohol - it would have been disastrous otherwise....
