If you are addicted to your mac and need a 24/7 internet connection, do not sign with UPC-cablecom! I am with them and can not count how many time the connection is disrupted!
Swisscom is more expensive but I wish I had contracted with them.

If around Biel, you might be in range of the local cable network - EvardNet ( www.evard.ch ).
I'm with them for almost 4 years and the reliability+service have been outstanding - I can remember perhaps 2 or 3 short disruptions throughout the years.
