Biggest cinema screen in Geneva

I want to check out the new Star Wars (in English/VO) but on as large a screen as possible: can someone point me in the right direction?

I think that they're playing a 360° version at CERN.

IMAX Pathé Balexert.

Here is the link to the schedule (for today). You will see that the IMAX has both FR and EN/VO so you will need to choose the right one.

Just to add that Pathé Balexert is adjacent to Centre Balexert shopping mall and AFAIK is the largest multiplex in Switzerland with 13 movie theaters.

Also to consider:

- Arena Cinémas GE La Praille, adjacent to CC la Praille shopping mall (Carouge near Les Acacias): multiplex with 9 movie theaters. One of its theaters has the largest screen in Switzerland.

- Cinéma Gaumont Archamps in France voisine (French autoroute A40 St-Julien-Annemasse, exit Archamps, 5 minutes from Bardonnex or Croix-de-Rozon border crossings): multiplex with 11 movie theaters.

So I went to the Pathé Balexert and it was, in typically Swiss style, hassle-free. Tram stops outside the door so it's easy to get to and tickets can be bought at a machine of at the counter where all the staff seemed to be bilingual.

The biggest screen was indeed showing Star Wars but in French of course, however the screen they'd allocated to the English version was a decent size and as it was the first screening of the day, almost empty.

Btw: price, including extra charges for it being an IMAX screen as well as purchase of 3D glasses, was 16.50, which seemed quite reasonable by Swiss standards.

Indeed it does. It cost our son 16chf to see Bridge of spies on a normal screen in a cinema not much bigger than most people's living rooms recently in Neuchâtel.

He paid much less to see the Star Wars film at the Apollo in English but that was with the Salt two for one offer.
