Bike shop in Zurich that lets you try out bike saddles?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a bike store that has either rental saddles you can try out, or a generous return policy on bike saddles?

After 12 years I think it's time for me to find another one that fits (mine is only available in the US unfortunately) and I'm hoping to do that without dropping 300 Fr.+ on saddles that don't work :/

Thanks!

Hi Scellers

You didn’t mention if it’s MTB or road saddle that are after.

You can try VeloPlus, as they do saddle fitting in their shops.

Hope you find a comfortable saddle !!

Veloplus will refund 80% is you return the saddle up to four weeks after buying it and buy a new one (shops only, not online). https://www.veloplus.ch/kompetenz/ti…d5de0007b149fc (in German)

Most online shops have rather generous return policies (bike-components, bike-discount etc.). Most smaller shops are too small to have a policy. If you’d ask before buying a saddle, they’d probably be willing to make some kind of a deal.

Edit: Dragon5 beat me to it…

When I read the title I feared you were into snurging.

I will go and get my coat now.

I was curious what snurging is, so I just looked it up, and came across this definition of something called snedging:

I'm really expanding my vocabulary today.

Didn't know about VeloPlus's policy, that's awesome! Thanks a lot, I'll do that for sure.
